Driving a greener tomorrow:
Our commitment
to environmental responsibility

Sustainability is a core focus at Gottwald. As a family-owned company with a long tradition, we are fully aware of the responsibility we bear toward future generations.

Sustainability and environmental protection

These are the key challenges of our time

Through targeted measures, we can make a meaningful contribution that benefits both the environment and your business. The use of environmentally friendly products, the reduction of material consumption, and the lowering of CO2 emissions are goals we can achieve together with you.

Improve your sustainability now!

We assess the use of sustainable products and match your requirements with the optimal solution.

Many manufacturers now offer sustainable products as part of their portfolios. These solutions deliver high performance while reducing environmental impact. This creates numerous opportunities for companies in mechanical engineering and manufacturing to improve their sustainability performance.

Partnership for Environmental Responsibility

We are an active member of the network “Partnership Environmenttal Responsibility”

The Parnership for Enviromental Responsibility (PUU) aims to support companies in Bremen and Bremerhaven in profitably integrating sustainable business practices into their daily operations. Targeted consulting, specialist events, and partner meetings facilitate mutual networking. Joint activities and campaigns ensure that their environmentally conscious and socially responsible actions receive public recognition.

“Thinking ahead” — responsibility rooted in tradition

Companies have many levers to operate more sustainablybeyond legal requirements. Here are our concrete measures:

Biodegradable lubricants

To everyone’s benefit! We use bio-based lubricants in our workshop and during service operations. This reduces the environmental impact and protects people.

E-mobility and company bike program

A large part of our vehicle fleet consists of electric vehicles. In addition, we offer bicycle leasing options for our employees.

Efficient packaging

Less air in every package means more packages per truck — fewer trips, lower CO₂ emissions, and greater efficiency. Yeah!

Efficient filtration systems

Goodbye smog! We rely on efficient filtration systems in our buildings to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Nitrogen from the air

We generate our own nitrogen for hydraulic accumulators. This significantly improves the CO₂ footprint of our accumulator systems.

Further measures we are implementing or currently working on:
